In Their Own Words
Let the children say who they are.....
and how they feel as being American-Thai and/or Thai-American.

Ann said to Milan, "You're just like me! You're very special... You'll rock the best of both worlds. Now remember -- you are the princess of two worlds."
Special Note from AmericanThai.net:
Thanks Ann for making such a wonderful statement.
American-Thai children are truly the prince and the princess of both American & Thai worlds.
Let them be proud of who they are!

One day Andaman's mom asked, "What do you think about mommy coming from Thailand? How do you like having a Thai mom & an American dad?" Andaman replied, "I love you..." She then continued, "My friend is from Maryland."

How I feel about being a Thai American is that I am proud to learn and know how to speak Thai - my birth language. One Thai holiday that I enjoy very much is Songkran. We can shoot water guns
and that's my favorite celebration. Sometimes people get cold water and splash it at me. And my sister her name is Grace. What is it like to be half-Thai half-American?
When people say you are different, what do you feel?
When it comes to school, do you have many friends?
If you answer all of these questions then I would know what it is like to be half-Thai half-American! I want to ask you, is it hard to fit in?
Well, Mom & Dad -- I just want to say that I thank you so much that you love me and teach me to always want to learn! Well, I'll see you soon! I love u!!
